Silver Dollar Bar & Grill: A Friendly Dining Experience in Sidney, NE

The staff is friendly and the place is clean. They have a daily burger special and that is usually what I order. The burgers are very good and you get a lot of good fries with it. I like the fact that they DON'T salt the fries. I find that most places put too much salt on the fries. GREAT food with reasonable prices.

Great food! Got the double cheeseburger; it was huge! Delicious! The grilled ham & cheese was good too! Friendly service. We'll be back!

This place is awesome! My family and I joined some friends here for lunch today. It seemed as if possibly the owner and one other gal were the only ones running the joint but the service was amazing! They were so quick and accommodating plus the burgers are fabulous! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great downtown location in the historic district of Sidney. Parking was available on the street. The location was not very busy. We arrived and seated ourselves since no one greeted us. The seating was comfortable and clean. A Server approached us and, while friendly and efficient, was very matter-of-fact and didn't really make any suggestions or have any feedback on the menu. The menus were in pretty rough shape. Our food was good, but not great, with the burger being better than the chicken strips, which were over-fried and seemed to have the taste of older oil. The fries were very good. The overall establishment could be much cleaner, including the bathrooms and the nooks and crannies that are not very obvious.

Such yummy, affordable food & excellent, attentive but not intrusive service! Clean, friendly Americana restaurant/bar with no obnoxious gaming machines (thank God) & welcoming patrons & staff. Even though it's a bar, with pool, etc. with booths in the back it has seating in the front & at the bar itself. Feels family friendly. We're not "bar" folks per se, but this isn't just a bar. It seems like an OG family-owned & loved local watering hole. You won't find a cheaper, tastier burger with this level of friendliness, great service in town.

When we walked in, we were geated by a friendly gentleman. Ordered beverage and served weight away, looked over the menu, and ordered their Thursday special, double cheese burgers and frys that was delicious, hats off to the chef with a perfect cook on the medium rare. The only downer was the waitresses that was not friendly or welcoming as the others. Even the locals were friendly and welcoming.

Wow! The burger is one of the best I’ve ever had, juicy and huge! Staff were super friendly! Will definitely stop again on our travels!

The website said they open at 9,showed up, was not open. Staff member came to door and said they open at 10. I hope they update their website for accurate hours. Did not get to eat here.
